“When I was first diagnosed I made a decision to wear tutus every single time I walked in the Kirkland’s Cancer Center… it is extremely difficult to be depressed in a tutu no matter the circumstances. It has helped me process the journey; but more importantly, it has brought joy, silliness, and smiles to others. I got the email this morning from you and cried. The biggest stressor for me was financial. I am single and worked two jobs before my diagnosis and I had no comprehension of how I was going to manage without an income for 6 months but as scripture proves. God never leads us to something he won’t get us through. It has been a blessing to see and be a part of cancer.”
