I was catching up on emails this evening when I noticed an email from The Pink Fund that changed my life forever. Getting the news left me speechless. I’m still in awe; I kept reading it over and over before it really sank in. Saying “thank you” barely expresses my gratitude. I feel truly blessed that The Pink Fund has chosen to help me.
Since my diagnosis I’ve wondered how in the world I was going to get by. I think for a lot of people the financial stress that comes along with a cancer diagnosis is the most stressful part. I’m a single woman and not being able to work has left me in a constant state of stress and anxiety, making it very difficult to focus on healing. But now my biggest worry has dissolved. With financial help from The Pink Fund, I can finally take a deep breath and concentrate on getting through chemo and getting better.
With all of my heart, I thank you for helping to give me some peace of mind. Your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.
