“It came as a total shock to find out I had triple positive breast cancer at age 42. As a single woman, with no one to support me but myself, it also became a financial hardship. I had to stop working because my job was too dangerous for me to do while undergoing chemotherapy. I work with young kids, and my immune system was at risk for COVID-19 and/or other colds and flus.
Suddenly, I didn’t know how I was going to pay my bills, let alone fight breast cancer!
